We have the pleasure to inform you that our Senior Project Engineer,  Zoltan Babics, has successfully passed the examination for TÜV Functional Safety Engineer at the company HIMA in Germany. 

After supplying proof of qualifications and safety system experience, Zoltan attended a one-week training course followed by a challenging examination. By following this course and passing it's examination Zoltan demonstrated his competency in Functional Safety according to the requirements of IEC 61508.

The TÜV Functional Safety Engineer course is designed to provide engineers involved in Safety Instrumented Systems with education on Functional Safety, current applicable standards, their requirements, and state of the art tools, techniques and methodologies.

This certification is part of ELSE Automation's strategy to strengthen our activities in the area of SIL (Security Integrity Level) applications.
